Men Get Dress put on your War Clothes

Many times as men we are distracted by stuff that really doesn’t matter. We know more about Sports than we do the things or the Word of God and the Concerns of our families. We are more likely to have on a Football Jersey than we are the Armor of God. When the opposing football team arrives we proudly express and display our team but when the real enemy of our Soul shows up he finds us unprepared and unarmed.

It is time that the men of God realize that we are in a war greater than the one fought on the football gridiron and this war is not for a earthly trophy but it is a battle for our life and the lives of our families.

Men Suit up and Fight

“In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might. Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil.”

You Can’t do It All

Often times as Husbands we feel like we need to have all the answers and that we need to be the pillar of strength at all times. The burden of this weight can destroy the inner man.  We need to realize some things are bigger than we are and sometimes we need help. When you feel overwhelmed reach out to one of the brothers.  And if you cry that does not make you less than a man because in Scripture Jesus Wept and so can you.
