Strength in numbers

Being married is not as easy as it seems. Married men face various trials throughout the day that may begin to wear at them.
As a married man you are expected to be:
  • Strong at all times
  • Priest of the House
  • Provider for the House
  • Confident at all times
  • Have the answer for the tough questions
  • Able to deal with the emotional changes in your wife and family without displaying any emotions of your own.
  • Repair man
  • And many other things to many other people
All this pressure if not released could cause us as men to implode or explode.
So how are we to deal with the weight of all the responsibilities that we face. The Scriptures give us insight

“Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”
‭‭James‬ ‭5:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

What if we came together as men and took off all our hats and allowed ourselves to decompress and release our frustration so that we can be prayed over and prayed for.

The Fact is God did not intend for us as men to crack under the pressures of life. If you are struggling today find you some true Godly men that will give you the outlet that you need so that you can break free from the chains of Stress, Fear and being overwhelmed.

Today's Prayer: Father God we pray that you will show us what it truly means to be a man of God that trusts in you as our Lord and Savoir. Men that can release the false weights of manhood that have been placed on us and embrace the true freedom and joy that come with being a surrendered, free man of God

Let it Go!

Unforgiveness is the gift that keeps on giving. Many of us have been wrongfully hurt by others but instead of letting it go we allow the offense to play over and over in our hearts and minds. What we fail to realize is Gods plan to forgive not only frees us from pain afflicted by others but also from the painful thoughts that invades our hearts and minds  like a  invading cancer. Bitterness and resentment are the side affects of unforgiveness, and if we give place for them in our hearts we will soon see everything in life through the lens of past pains.  Let it go, release those that have wronged you if not for them do it for yourself. Because choosing to not forgive shackles you to your own personal failures. Matthew‬ ‭6:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬ “But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”

Stay Connected

Do you remember the Joy of your wedding day? Do you remember the day you and your spouse openly confessed your love to each other? Oh how we enjoyed doing simple things together. It was just an awesome feeling when we were free to love and enjoy what God had joined together. We must intentionally live in that same space. We must learn how to enjoy the ever changing journey of life without becoming disconnected, disjoined, divided, split apart or torn apart or put asunder.  We must protect the love with have for each other by constantly holding or marriage up to God so that we can continually see His marvelous plan for our Union. Oh yes we must remember God has a Plan for our marriage. So learn each day how to express Love to your spouse in new ways so that you can stay "Joined Together"

“And said, For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and shall be united firmly (joined inseparably) to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh? [Gen. 1:27; 2:24.] So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder (separate).”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭19:5-6‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Protector

As a husband we should never protect ourselves at our wives expense. We must learn to be truthful and honest men of integrity.  Sometimes lying may seem easier in the moment but it never pays off in the long run. Abram learned this lesson when in fear of the wrath of the King he lied and said his wife was his sister so that he could save his own skin. “And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She is my sister: and Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭20:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬
The outcome of this decision could have meant Abimelech could have committed adultery with Sarah. Question have you ever covered your own behind by using your wife as a shield. If so its time to man up.

To Love the Lord

To love the Lord is to respect and reverence him. This means doing things the way he would have you do them. There are two types of believers, one believes in the theory of God but refuse to live in the obedience of his will. They desire his blessings but not his direction. The second type of believer has God as their Lord. They not only want his blessing but they need his direction, their lifestyle is impacted by Gods will.  The first type of believer gets mad at God when things don't go their way the second has joy in tribulation because they know it will work out Gods way. Proverbs‬ ‭1:7‬ ‭AMP‬‬ The reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord is the beginning and the principal and choice part of knowledge [its starting point and its essence]; but fools despise skillful and godly Wisdom, instruction, and discipline. [Ps. 111:10.]”

Fill us up Lord

Feeling Empty? Let Jesus fill your tank.  “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”(To the Full)
‭‭John‬ ‭10:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬
